The abbey of Belleperche, imposing and majestic, invites you to discover the elegance of its large rooms and its Museum of Tableware.
Installed in 1143 on the bank of the Garonne, rebuilt on huge walls of support in the 13th century, it was one of the three richest Cistercian monasteries of the Midi. Rebuilt once again in the 18th century, it today offers you its imposing majesty and serves as a framework for the Museum of Table Arts.
Through the exhibition “La Table is bet!”, Discover the erect tables and a rich collection of services, dishes, plates, glasses, cutlery, decorations, porcelain, earthenware, crystal, In money and other metals, and see how each era lived the conviviality of the table. Upstairs, in the immense gallery of the former hotel industry, lovers of tea and beautiful objects will marvel at the fabulous collection, unique in Europe, of Chinese Yiwing sandstone teapots from the 16th century to the present day.
